This manual will guide you through basic skills needed to install, configure, and play HardWar. HardWar is a very straight forward game allowing only one weapon to be fired at a time and only one object targeted at a time. This puts a lot of responsibility on the pilot to determine his priorities. There are only three basic skills required to play the game: Flight Management, Using Menu's, and Targeting. The following sections explain these as well as how to install and configure HardWar.
Installation and Operation -- This section explains the rather simple installation procedure. It also covers how to start a new game, save games, and shut the game down. It also explains how to archive and share your saved games with other pilots.
Game Configuration -- Explains how to set up the audio and video components of the game.
Flight Controls -- Explains how to customize the buttons on your joystick, gamepad, and keyboard. You can customize any function in the game. Yea, HardWar.
HUD -- Explains the components of HardWar's Head's Up Display.
Menu's and Targeting -- Explains how to use HardWar's messaging system, various menu's, and how to target things in the immediate area.
